Wing mirrors filling up with water

Hello,

When it rains or I was my van both wing mirrors both fill with water. I now leave them folded up.

Is this standard? Never had it before and wondering if it might have something to do with the DAB radio not working.

Don’t know that they would fill but mine do take a couple of seconds to empty when I fold them.

They’re outside of the van so presumably designed to get wet.

Having just sound deadened my T6 doors and swapped out the rust stained factory speakers you don't want to know how much water passes through the door interiors... it's almost like the window seals are there to stop the glass rattling.
Both original speakers had rust stained magnets and the passengers side was only held "nearly" in place by magnetism with the magnet pole jamming the voice coil from moving, I've now got rain flaps fitted and real 8" speakers not the stock 6" crap with a 2" wide plastic bezel.
