Will a Tailgate Outwell Desert Awning fit?

About to collect a VW t6.1 Bilbos highline Nexa camper and been researching tailgate awnings - looks like the Outwell Desert would fit the bill as it doesn't look like it needs to connect over the roof (problem being high line), but goes round the back end. Anyone have any experience of this combo? Thanks

Just as an aside, "highline" is a trim level, whereas "high-roof" refers to the height of the van.

Thanks, looks like that works well and no worries putting tailgate down while attached to the awning? I've seen a lot of tailgate awnings where it looks like there's a sort of Cowell which is pulled partway up/over the roof.

Tailgate can be closed and it will stay put.
There are 2 straps, very long, which can go right to the front of the van. I temporarily knotted them under the front wipers but will come up with a better fixing idea in a while.....
