which steering wheel lock do you recommend

There are a few videos on Pooptube and the like, of folk claiming it would be easy to steal a DiskLok equipped vehicle because it can be driven in a straight line, but none show the narrator taking a corner or a roundabout.

You cant even get off my driveway without taking a 90° turn and, trust me, no matter how far the crotch of my jeans hangs round my knees or how much gangsta disco music I play that simply ain't happening.

I use this as a visual deterrent… they won’t start mine unless it is removed and know which sequence of buttons to press as had ghost 2 immobiliser fitted too.
Only way it’s going is on the back of a truck…

I was coming on here to ask the same question but it looks like the disc lock is the answer, cumbersome though it is.

I wondered about a bear lock but it’s not really a visual deterrent as such.

I would like a ghost immobiliser but I think I’ll have to wait until I sell my t5 for that

I’ve got a disklok for mine but what does everyone do with them when driving? I’m getting a bit tired of it sliding around on the floor.

If you have 2x captain seats, the Disklok wedges nicely on the floor between the two seats.

Not sure the "bag over the arm of the chair" would be my choice. In a crash, regardless of where it's stored, it's a big heavy lump that could be flying around the cab, but storing it further back, higher up and in a manner where it can swing all adds to that risk IMO. Probably better to consider foam strips on the inside face of both chairs to increase friction and allow better wedging.

I’ve got the Stoplock pro. As a visual deterrent it seems to work. On reviewing my security camera footage of some Scroats trying car and house doors in our road, I was pleased to say they walked straight past my van. Good enough for me.

Disklock, in a bag and hang it off the back of the drivers headrest between the fridge and seat back bit of foam packing to stop any movement

Disklock. use as a footstool for the passenger (we're both short arses😅). Have a couple of straps attached to front of passenger seat to secure.
