Wheel arch rubbing.....

As a rule, rubbing implies wheels too wide, springs too low or movement in some part of the suspension.

When does your rubbing sound happen? Any accompanying clunks?

Has the liner recently been disturbed? Our rubbing noise came back after a service but it was just the under tray having been badly aligned when the refitted it after the oil change.
Unsure. It is only that wheel. Only got the van as week or go and when doing some work on it, I noticed the tyre had rubbed on the inner rear bit of the rear offside inner.
I will be having a look to see if it is distorted.
Cheers.

235/45/50/55 is more the normal on 18s with owners of these vans.
Thanks for the advice.
Yeah, they wouldn't have been my choice, they came with it.
Does anyone know if the normal VW Highline alloy wheels that came with the van originally are OK for the weight of a fully fitted out camper, subject to the correct tyres of course. Cheers.
