To be fair, that price profile doesn’t look dissimilar to many other products at the moment, especially those with electronics inside.

Probably a lot being bought up in Ukraine, you can‘t have a wood burner in a high rise flat but it’s possible to rig up a diesel heater.
Supply and demand.

Chinese heaters you mean. You will not get a pukka heater for that money. It is the same with all Chinese products if you delve into it all, the Chinese have been increasing their prices for everything recently, presumably they have a sudden need of more foreign currency for some reason. Other items that I have noticed that were around the £25 mark have shot up to over £50.
