What shall I do to these wheels?

So, after running these wheels through a filthy winter they are in need of a refurb, but the question is, what do I do? It took me a long time to find the right wheels and I still think they are the right wheels, so I'll keep them, but do I keep them silver or change the colour? Maybe satin black, not gloss, not matt, but satin could work. Any other suggestions?

Silver. Silver wheels look bigger, plus it shows off the detail of them better. I think black of any sort has been done to death. Silver just works. Always has.
Yeah, you're right, and that's exactly why I bought them as silver in the first place. There are many, many grey vans with black wheels, I just fancy a change sometimes!

Don't disregard Black Chris, but avoid Gloss Black because they are a nightmare to keep looking nice. @T6180 had those Momo's done in Satin Black and they looked awesome, very similar style to yours.
There's nothing wrong with Silver, but I get why you'd fancy a change. Refurbs are a cheap easy way to change the look of your T6 and Black wheels do look sweet on an Indium Grey van.

Plus with your stance, Black wheels will look far more aggressive than Silver:devil:

I had satin black alloys on my MK3.5 focus st and regretted it on day one. They just don't ever look clean. And keeping them clean is a major pain in the bum. I agree with other members on here that the silver really suits the van...but Im running silver wheels so I would say that...

Gloss Black. They'll look satin in no time :)
Why are they wrecked after a single winter? Do you not coat them ?

Because winter will cover wheels in grit and salt, and when this is cleaned off with a wheel brush or sponge, you end up grinding the crud into the glossy surfaces and they end up scratched up in no time at all. This is probably the same case for all coloured wheels, but Black as most people know, will just show it up far more obviously, specially if they are glossy.

Where I live you can't keep any colour of anything clean for longer than about 5 minutes, although this prolonged dry weather helps a little!

They're ceramic coated, done before they went on the van, but I've done 10000+ miles on them over winter and the roads around me are shocking. During winter the roads are often covered in a fine grit based muck that destroys pretty much everything it comes into contact with, hence the ugly, over sized, but essential mud flaps! To be fair the ceramic is doing it's job, they are much easier to clean than if they didn't and I clean my wheels touch less as much as is possible, but that grit will chew through pretty much anything as it gets flicked up from the road.

Adding to this, it's the rears that are worst affected, the tyres have a slight stretch and the rim is exposed so that doesn't help.

I’ve just purchased another set of 20” gloss black for my white van, but got to admit, the silver against your colour looks amazing, if it was me id stick with the silver

Fit some steels with decent tyres and forget about them.

Wheels are there to roll on, you can't see them when you are driving so what does it matter. It's the grip on the road and the noise or lack of it from them on the road that affects the drive, comfort and safety, looks have got b***er all to do with it!

PS both of mine have alloys! ;)

The Beetle has 500/525 crossplys on original 16" riveted wheels. Those who have seen Drew Pritchard buying one of those from Karmann Konnection will know what they cost!
