So by the looks of thing I should be dropping the deposit on a 68 204dsg this afternoon! Gulp.. I've got a wish list of things to do but the first are the following.. whats everyones thoughts on what they would do first.. each item seems to be a grand as always!
1. B14's
2. 18" Wheels
3. Insulate / Line
4. Leather seats.

Ps If anyone thinks I shouldn't get the 204 dsg then reply soon!

Yep, I'd go for the same 4.

However, you've just bought a T6. That means your list needs to go to around 30 (or more). You'll see what I mean once you've picked it up!

Last min hiccup as one of the dealers has just checked in with me to counter offer a brand new van thats sitting in Germany for £1.5K than the 68 plate with 17k miles... the difference is more spec but 150.... I think I can live with 150.

So its not brand new then if it has 17,000 miles. I'd just ask why is a RHD sat in Germany with mileage on it, just seems a tad weird. What is the mileage on the 68plate?
You can always get the 150 remapped; just add another £450 to the list. You will definately need to get longer arms and shorter pockets.

I've just bought a 68 Caravelle Exec, so it has most of the spec on it I'd want, however I do have plans. I intend to get all the parts together, then do the transformation in one go.

Mines a 150 DSG which I find acceptable. It's a van after all, so not really the sort of thing you'd want to hustle along. Fuel consumption is pretty good, being almost 10mpg up on my Amarok.
