Can anyone tell me what this is? It pinged out when I was removing the air vent at the far left side of the dashboard. It’s functioning fine without it but assume it must have a function.

Top one looks like Reimo awning rail or similar. The lower looks like a rain gutter for a high top van.

The dealer said this was some sort of electrical connection for a small mobility lift for the previous owner ? Not seen this type before. Thinking I could swap it for a usb/cigar socket ?

Thats an SP21 type connector. I use them to make handy connections for chargers, etc.

SP21 (and SP14 - youd need a ruler to be sure which size you have, but it looks like 21) is a series of online and panel mount DC connectors.

Inexpensive, robust, with waterproof caps, theyre handy bits of kit.

Sadly, however, I dont know what purpose this particular connector is serving. It may indeed have been to power a wheelchair lift. A multimeter will tell you if there's any voltage there.
