What are you drinking tonight?

Round these parts we call that a Whisky Mac.
I believe that is what it is called. A Drink that was once semi popular. I was not sure if anyone these days remembered it. It makes cheap whisky drinkable, certainly would not mix a malt like that. I tend to drink them with a splash of water but they are too expensive I feel these days. :(:)

Funny, I had that on Monday and I wasn't a fan!

Maybe on a cold winter's evening?
That’s a shame…. I had it after a recent sunny walk and was impressed with it. Sometimes strong beers taste just ‘strong’ if you know what I mean, but this was lovely…. had to have a second pint to make sure! :whistle:

I suppose sometimes it comes down to how old it is or how it’s kept?

Is anyone on here a camra member and if so do they think it’s worth it? My membership is up for renewal and I don’t think I’m going to bother

A million years since I last supped Everard Tiger
Here's another blast from the past!

The White Horse in Empingham was reportedly closed, but it has reopened as the Tickled Trout.

The beer was very good.

Release the Chimps was on top form;
Lincoln Imperial was very nice (although with the name, I would have expected something stronger and darker);
The Bass was lovely, don't know who brews it now but it tasted like it should.

A couple of nicely chilled Timothy Taylor' Landlord tonight.

Last nights selection was

PA - Pheasantry Brewery x 2
Rocky - Shiny Brewery
22 - Dancing Duck Brewery
Barghest - Ossett Brewery

Our local is The Dandy Cock Gin and Alehouse in Kirkby in Ashfield, ales change weekly and are kept very well!

Was drinking Brewdog Black Heart last night at a very raucous Motley Crude gig in Sutton in Ashfield.
Superb drink, slightly smoky taste but easy to drink.
