I believe that is what it is called. A Drink that was once semi popular. I was not sure if anyone these days remembered it. It makes cheap whisky drinkable, certainly would not mix a malt like that. I tend to drink them with a splash of water but they are too expensive I feel these days.Round these parts we call that a Whisky Mac.
That’s a shame…. I had it after a recent sunny walk and was impressed with it. Sometimes strong beers taste just ‘strong’ if you know what I mean, but this was lovely…. had to have a second pint to make sure!Funny, I had that on Monday and I wasn't a fan!

The White Horse in Empingham was reportedly closed, but it has reopened as the Tickled Trout.
The beer was very good.

Release the Chimps was on top form;
Lincoln Imperial was very nice (although with the name, I would have expected something stronger and darker);
The Bass was lovely, don't know who brews it now but it tasted like it should.
