Love a Tigger van.Hi everyone, first post on here! I always sign up to a forum whenever I buy something new, they’ve always been really helpful.
I’ve wanted a Transporter since 2011, when my family and I rented one for a week. They’ve always been just out of my budget, until now. A few days ago, my wife and I bought an ex-RAC T6 that’s already been converted with a pop-top. We’re all very happy with the purchase and plan to get away as often as possible, hopefully a couple of nights every month.
There are of course a few things I’d like to do, new headlights, a new head unit, a better reversing camera, and so on, but the practical items come first. A drive-away awning, camping gear, etc. The list never ends!
We’ve booked Volksfest in Bristol this year and hope to get to a few other shows around the country, as well as any local meet-ups.

Well, it's a tool so what do you do. Then again, nowadays machine wash is pretty decent, especially when you live at the end of a gravel road that's being salted - during the winter to combat ice, during the summer to reduce dust. I stopped caring too much some three decades ago.Lovely colour but car wash?![]()

A very warm welcome to you @Baz_HHi All, just joined the group after loads of my google searches kept bringing me to the Forum, so decided it was time to join.
I bought my Van already converted, but noticed a few things I didn’t like so I have ripped out all of the install. Just about to start putting things back together.
Thanks
Baz

The more I strip it out the more I regret it. The level of workman ship has been appalling. Loads of bodywork to repair before I can start putting it back togetherA very warm welcome to you @Baz_H
Amazing you still have money left over after buying a converted van!
Any pics of the outside for us nosey bunch?!

Van looks great, and the right colour to never have to wash it! But you will I'm sure! Good luck with your rebuild! The more I strip it out the more I regret it. The level of workman ship has been appalling. Loads of bodywork to repair before I can start putting it back together

Welcome to the forum - all VAG owners welcome here.Hi everyone,
I'm French (please forgive any mistakes in my English). I live in Paris and work as an industrial electrician.
I joined your forum because it's really great! It's very technical when it comes to “VCDS” (VAG-COM)!
I haven't found anything better here in France!
I have a VW (Seat Ateca = VW Tiguan)
with a major problem that I hope to solve with your help, if you’ll let me.
