Hi All, does anyone know of any campsites within an hour of midlands area open over winter, as my sons away with school and fancy a weekend away. Must haves are local pub and good walking area to take dog?

Two we have tried in the last few weeks are Rutland Caravan and Camping at Greetham and Rural Relaxing at Medbourne. Very different sites from each other but we will return to both for local sites with good, dog friendly pubs nearby.

Depends where you are in the Midlands, Forest Fields is open till the new year. Good walking and cycling off road if you like and there is a pub 15 or so min away
