Very luxurious and not too far for you.
Perfect place if you want to take her somewhere extra special.

I like the campsite near Coniston, and a few pints in the Sun hotel where all the Bluebird memorabilia is.

That does look amazing. I'm travelling to Portsmouth Monday night for a meeting Tuesday morning. Wish I'd seen this before I booked my hotel. The emporer pitches look great. Will certainly consider this next time I'm down that way.
It's just one of those places you remember for high end quality. People moan on about how they are more expensive than other sites, but to be fair, you do kind of get what you pay for as usual.
A great place to stay for any potential visits to @BognorMotors too.

The owners are fantastic.
We asked them for a local taxi number because we were in our Motorhome and didn't have a car with us, and after a quick chat he threw me the keys to his site electric Renault Zoe thing. Not only was that super generous of him, it was the first fully electric car i'd ever driven and I loved it.
Wow now that’s going above and beyond. They told me there is a car hire place that deliver the cars to the camp site for £30 a day. I would definitely be renting one next time we go
I’m not surprised mate it’s a lovely camp site. Well worth a visit
