WAV - conversion to camper

Had a quick look on the forums for an answer to this but couldn't find any, so please point me in the right direction if this has been answered before.

How easy/difficult/impossible would it be to convert a WAV T6 (with cutaway floor ramp) back to a regular camper (or even shuttle)? I may have a fairly short-term need for a WAV but would am also looking for a camper longer term, so this would seem like it could be a stop-gap solution.

Anyone had any experience of this?

There was a forum member who posted about fitting a std floor back in from a written off van - it was an involved reversal!

I read somewhere that somene just fitted a false floor over the wheelchar channel and used that for extra storage, so could be easier than fitting a whole new floor. Although that can be done as I know someone who had the floor cut out and raised up to get the van lower.

Hey @Skyliner33, I have recently purchased a T6 that has been used as a WAV vehicle, with the floor cut out for wheelchair access. My plan is a partial conversion and your comment above about a false floor got my attention. Would you by any chance be able to point me in the right direction here?

I think it might have been on here but not 100% sure. You will have to do a search.

I did the full conversion back to standard and it is a serious undertaking - it's fairly well posted on here. The issue with keeping the ramp and just fitting a false floor over the ramp for me was ground clearance. To accommodate the ramp, the standard tank is dropped by about 150mm and protected by a steel bash plate. Even with the t32 suspension, this seriously reduces ground clearance - not something I wanted to live with!
