Hello All !

We haven't used our water tank / tap / pump but I wanted to check that everything was working the other day before I listed the van for sale. However, when I went to fill the watertank I noticed that the water was immediately draining out the bottom of the van.....it turns out that the connection between the water tank and the pump / tap had snapped, see photos below:

The underside of the water-tank is very difficult to access, but when I try to put a spanner on the hex-nut it seems to just spin - does anyone have any ideas on the best way to tackle this problem ?! Any help appreciated :D

There should be a removable access cover so you can get a hand (and spanner) inside the tank to lock the bulkhead fitting.
It looks like it was a straight fitting so not surprising it probably got hit and snapped.
I’d advise fitting a 90 degree elbow as a replacement.
If you can see the access cover it’s probably on top and you’ll need to drop the tank.

Further to post #2, replace it with a brass fitting instead of plastic.
If you need to remove the tank to access leak test it with a full tank before refitting on the van.
