Warranty or service pack

Hi all.

My three year warranty ended on 1st January this year.

I have a service plan and still have at least one service remaining on this as I have only done 20,000 miles.

We are travelling to Europe again this year in September and like the reassurance of the VW roadside assistance.

So what are my options?

1. Extended warranty pack
2. Service Pack
3. Any others i am not aware of

Any advice and opinions gratefully received

Use the service now then get All in. Get services and warranty with that

OK great, I think it is about due the service so sounds a good idea. Thanks.
If I buy all in now i am correct in thinking the service from my current plan remains in place

As above, you can have all-in up to year 6 or 100k.

We also took out AA / RAC with Europe cover to make sure we was fully covered.

So what year / millage is yours?

Its a 72 plate (Registered 30th December 2022) and we have just about turned 20,000 miles

You should be able to get all-in up to 2028.

You get.

Warranty (oil leaks not covered)
2 mot
2 service
Breakdown (roadside fix or tow to garage, with temp load van)

@Dellmassive they don't make it easy, I only see an annual payment option for 12 months cover!!

You need to use your service up before you can get all in.

All in is a 24mnth contract with VWFS.... You need to get it setup the day your 3yr warranty expires.

You don't want any break in cover.


You can get all-in online or via your dealer.

But can't have any overlapping cover.... So timing is everything.

Had our van booked in for the ALL-IN check the other day.

VW van Centre Dartford (Beadles) - 8am






bit of a dilemma as there call booking system had double booked all the work for the day.



an hour later the Service advisor come over sat next to me to tell me the van had failed the test . . . !

when i asked why the answer made no sense.

he said the van had Non-standard wheels and suspension . . . !!! WTH !
