Warranty close to ending

Hi All,
Looking for other people’s opinions.
my van is 3 years old in March but the service is due at the end of July which is under a vw plan .
Do i book it in early so they can check for any warranty issues or perhaps book a dealership MOT. Would they do a scan for codes when doing the MOT .

I would take it to an independent MOT place and see what gets reported, then take it back to VW if anything untoward. If all clear you’re free to go independent for the next service.

I have an 18 year old 911 and use a local indy and I trust him implicitly. He talks to me about the car, gives me options and choices about what needs doing and time scales.
