VW warranty now available to 100,000 miles.

Awesome.... Just went to check and then realised that we are over 100k

Standard policy covers most things that go wrong ie Ad-blue, EGR DPF. Mines coming in at £82 per month with £250 xs. Doesn't seem bad when most repairs are bloody expensive.

I’m currently paying £30 odd a month for all in cover which is limited to max 6 years so I believe I won’t be able to renew in the summer and so I’m looking for alternatives, are we saying this warranty is £82 a month for warranty alone?! Adding recovery and servicing would make this silly money. Is there any alternative?

So looking at that for a quote, Standard Warranty on my 2019 102 Highline van is about £29pm

[edited: Standard = £29, Plus = £32]

2-year Service plan (quote from another van, as mine is still in All-in-one) is £24 or £31pm (higher amount adds filters and plugs.

So £53 or £60 per month for Warranty + Service Plan.

Makes my All-in-one look like a bargain at £35 per month, including UK + EU breakdown.

Only get a newer van. I'm in the same boat.

It will quote you for the Warranty, see above.

In the same boat, A-i-o expires in the summer.

Even 60pm looks OK to me, I pay over 40 for my mazda service plan without warranty.

So 60 + recovery from elsewhere

Seems a lot but I guess it’s not too bad.

Anyone got a third party solution?

Just noticed that the VW warranty is available on vehicles less than 100,000 miles appears to be no age limit.
Thanks for posting this, @Georgeo , gives us a bit of reassurance that there are options after the All-in-one expires.
