I have t6 caravelle 2016 150 , mpg seems rubbish , has anyone had remap to improve mpg and if so who would you recommend?

Expect around 32 to 34 mpg.

I’d be happy with that but don’t think I’m getting anywhere near that ,

Don't expect any major improvement in MPG from a remap. It might make it nicer to drive, more powerful, etc, but any tiny improvement in fuel economy you might see will never pay for the remap. (I'm not against remapping, my van is mapped.)
Check your tyre pressures, a few PSI down can significantly effect MPG.
Check to see how often your DPF is regenerating, this too can adversely effect MPG.

Don't use the computer, work it out by distance between full tanks.

I've averaged 34.4 over nearly 50k miles, majority with AT tyres. All worked out, tank to tank. I've recently been pushing closer to 38 by driving in a more relaxed manner, due to price rises across the board.

These vans are very sensitive to your driving style, and, I find, wind. I got 42+mpg on 120 mile journey with a back wind, a head or cross wind will push it down to low 30s. Not surprising, looking at the shape of them!
