VW Marshall - Loughton - Was Lancaster (Jardine Motor Group)

Whats happened here? . . . our Local VW dealer has been a Lancaster for years (at least since 2008) and now its a Marshalls . . . . . ?

and the Marshall website say they have these sites too? . . . whats happend? a buy-out or take over?

Marshalls are a very large company based in Cambridge who own many dealer ships and the small airport in Cambridge.
I contacted Marshals of Lougton last mouth via the phone re Major service and Cam belt + water pump change and posable Dsg service as van only had 34K.
My Van will be 4 years old on 5th March 2020.
The reply was Van needed Major service Dsg service but not Cam belt + water pump as it was needed next year at 5 years.
Then received an email saying: Major service £354, Dsg service £308, Cambelt + water pump £507.
Phoned again and told Cam belt every 5 years.
I have booked the van with another service centre.

I bought my first T6 from Loughton back in 2016 from Wayne. Rang in 2018 to get a quote for a new one promised to send it and got nothing after a few times asking I went to Ipswich.

Yes, I my last 3 Van's from Wayne..... =)

Last email from his was about 6mnths ago re the T6.1 update.

I Dellmassive (my last post should have read £570 for cam belt)
I have booked the van for the end of the month with Beadles of Chemsford (was inscape) for major service £358 and Cam belt kit (all tensioner and rollers) + Water pump £534. I went over and talked to the service team and Cambelt every 4 years and Dsg at 40K. They will check auxiliary belt and tensioner and will replace if needed. Or replace at my request approx £40. I think I will have it done.
