Viktron 75 1 15 MPPT solar controller

My Viktron 75 1 15 MPPT solar controller has come with a jumper on two of the pins, looking at the instructions it seems that I can remove it if I am setting up the controller with bluetooth. Has anyone got this controller and am I understanding the instructions correctly ? cheers
