I've had this in the van for years and used it for all kinds of things, its been happily charging my Trek Rail 9 ebike but last month something has developed a problem.. now it will start to charge and after 2 or 3% it throws an error up on the bike and stops charging. (Battery in van is 100% lots of sunshine outside, tried different extension leads but still the same issue)
Is there a way through VRM to see any logs relating to the inverter ?

Is there a chance that the battery is on its way out and the load is pulling the voltage down too much?

Has that combo worked before?

What's the wattage the ebike and charger pull?

You say 4A , 230v = that would be 920w, but I can't see that?

As the inverter is 375va which is just over 300w.

..

Does it work ok ah home?

Can you find out what the watts are when it's running full rate?....

Its worked for over a year without issue but recently (not sure if an update to the bike could of caused this)

When it errors, you disconnect the charger and plug back in and will do 2 or 3% and then lock up again.

If I plug it into the mains it works perfectly.

When you say "Can you find out what the watts are when it's running full rate?...." do you mean what is it pulling via Victron or something else?

I was hoping there was somewhere I could monitor load (bluetooth or VRM)

Do you have a multimeter with a clamp ammeter?

Yes, I saw that in your first post. I was assuming (perhaps wrongly) that you could use this to monitor the load?

You can use vrm or vitron connect to bring up the inverter load and it's voltage to see if the charges trying to pull too much power...

Are you getting any inverter overload messages from either vrm or when you watch via Bluetooth on vicron connect
