Very Wierd... Carista

So Saturday went out in the van and the coil light started flashing... Turned it off and restarted it came straight back on again..
Got to my destination for 3 hours, started van up and it came on straight away drove 8 mile stop at lights turned it off and restarted and it never came on all the way home for anoth 5 mile..

Plugged Carista and no fault codes... Any ideas.

It seems that Carista just doesn't report all faults - perhaps only active/current faults get attention?

Just checked mine and indeed Carista reports none. I did try several ways with Carista - full scan, just one ECU, detailed ECU info - no past/intermittent faults from engine are reported.

Then OBDeleven and VCDS report also faults from the past.
