VE Ident Process - WeConnect App Issue

Hi all,

Has anyone else had issue with the VW Ident process when trying to setup the remote ‘lock/unlock’ feature on the WeConnect app for there T6.1?

Every time I instigate the process I get the error message in the picture below.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi, i have got golf mk8 and same problem, nothing work for me. i try it on iphone and also on android and still doesnt work :/

i try it once again and it finally worked. Do you have any special symbols in your name? like š or č or something like that?

I’ve just tried it and got through to the next screen where you wait for a ‘verification expert’ but after 20 minutes waiting I gave up. How long did you have to wait?

I have tried multiple times so I suggest that you do the same. My 3rd attempt ended up being successful
