VCDS - No response from controller

VCDS release 25.3.1
I am trying to use VCDS to disable the feature allowing the van windows to be opened from the key fob.
I am getting the message 'no response from controller' when I select '35 - Centr, Locks' from the 'Comfort/Conv.' tab.
(Selecting other options from within the 'Comfort/Conv.' tab gives the same error message, but, elsewhere, controllers are responding and VCDS is working normally.
I have unplugged and re-plugged the cable, closed and restarted VCDS and tried with the ignition off and on but none of these solves the problem.
Has anyone come across this problem and been able to fix it please?

What vehicle is it ?
There’s no 35 in a T6 Transporter it’s done by 9 BCM

If you switch to the installed tab it will only show you modules that are present and stop you from trying to select non existent ones

OK, good advice - will start with that option all the time from now on. Thanks.

I think 09 is labelled as cent elect or central electrics but in general is referred to as bcm or body control module

Yes, easy to find now I know where to look, and where not to bother looking ever again, thanks to your help.

Update:
Selecting 09 Cent. Elect., then Adaptation, then Remote Control Adaptation gives:
Error Chanel 01 Not Available (see screen captures).
So I cannot configure the functionality of the remote control to disable the 'open windows' option on long press of the unlock button.
Any further advice welcome but if there is no way of configuring I will have to be careful not to sit on the remote (have seen other posts about windows having a mind of their own).

That setting has nothing to do with windows, you are going to create problems for yourself if you start messing with random things

Check the long coding think there may be an option for windows there, it comes under comfort settings, you may be able to just untick the comfort option in the long coding but this will disable all comfort functions inc mirror folding on lock if you have it

Thanks Alied, long coding option, accessing Byte 3 and un-ticking Bit 5 has worked.
Window operation via remote control has been disabled, and no other 'comfort' settings are affected.
That is what I wanted to achieve - to remove the security risk associated with accidental opening of windows.

Thanks Pauly - long coding option worked (and without affecting other comfort settings), so all good.
