Unknown wires

Hi,
Successfully changed the drivers air vent motor heater linkage with spare part. Great instructions and part but fiddly. All working. Fished and noticed two unconnected black wires, one thin and one thicker heading up toward main console. They seem to come from toward drivers door. Any ideas what they are for?

Looks aftermarket, footwell lights from the prevous owner?

I’d check to see if they are live before anything else.
