tyre pressure monitor system

Not quite true- it's only passenger carrying vehicles so standard on a kombi but a paid option on a PV.

thank you........

so my new vcds will be able to enable it then..........................if only i know the code....:sick:

As far as I knew it was all down to the ABS sensors until last week when I pumped up one of tyres on my car (not the T6) while on the drive and the tyre pressure display knew straight away without moving. How's that work? o_O

'Posh' vehicles have pressure sensors stuck on the rim that measure actual pressure not just rely on ABS sensor for rolling circumference

I was amazed my £13k Suzuki has valve sensors not the usual rolling circumference measuring. Great until I need a new tyre and KwikFit chuck them away......

Kwikfit gave me mine back on my old Range Rover sport alloys on the T5, didn't even know were there, told me I could sell them on eBay.

You will have to excuse for being a bit dim, does this mean that my Highline spec panel van has TPMS but it needs activating via vcds
