Turbo end float - what’s too much?

Looking at friends crafter turbo, on inspection it appears there is a couple of mm float backwards and forwards on the shaft, laterally it seem to be ok and is not making contact with the housing.

Is there a given value of what should be acceptable. Engine is DUAB which is similar to my CXGB.
