So after fitting the new Fogstar battery I bought a trickle charger the keep it topped up. I have a lead connected to the battery coming out of the back of the seat base and wanted a way to be able to easily connect it while it's on the drive.
The Fogstar charger comes with O-Ring connecters and if I remove those and I have an issue with it at some point it needs to be returned in its original state.
My plan was to add a 12awg XT60 connecter to both sides with a fuse the trickle charge side.
Now is there an easy/safe way to keep the O-rings or should I just hope it never plays up and needs to be sent back....

Just remember to add a fuse to the battery terminal side...

So that the xt60 link cable is protected against any issues.

What rate charger is it?

Those cables look beefy.

More info...

Battery side...yes

To protect the cable when the charger is disconnected. In the event of that cable/connector gets, caught, damaged, crushed, smashed.

Unfused, if damaged it will catch fire.

Safety first !!!

Add a fuse as close to the terminal as you can...

Example of the Victron quick disconnect.
