Trailer gross weight

Hi All,

Just bought a trailer and was wondering on the gross weight.

The rear plate says gross weight 500kg

And I’ve another near the tow ball saying
Gvw 750kg

It’s a Ifor Williams bv64e for info

Their website suggests a gross weight of 500kg and unladen weight of 200kg (for the roller shutter door model). Im not sure where the 750 comes from unless the component that it's on is used on a larger capacity trailer possibly. Either way I would er on the side of safety.
