Touch Screen hardware related issue

My touch recognition on my 2019 T6 across all platforms is not working , apparently this is a hardware related issue & I need a new display unit - the cost £3.141.80!!!!
Any suggestions gratefully received…..

Common issue, the screens are repairable/replaceable, have a google and keep away from VW dealers

A £20 quid fix. The search function will reveal all.
