Touch Screen quality

Folks,

It's Touch Screen replacement time. After slowly deteriorating, the touch screen in my 2018 T6 is now totally unresponsive across the whole screen and needs replacement - or at least the digitiser does. There are good details and links on the Forum on how to do this, so I am not unduly concerned about the process, and new screens seem to be numerous on places like Amazon and Ebay. In fact, there are so many options that I am concerned about buying a dud.

Back in the early days of smart phones, I replaced several broken screens on the family's phones, but the quality of the replacement screens was never up to the original. Now I know that the OEM screen in my van is not of particularly good quality (given the number that seem to fail - as reported on this forum), so I would rather get the best quality digitiser I can find.

So my question to the forum is: Is there a reliably good quality digitiser available and if so, where from?

Thank you.

The cheap overlay replacements do the job but are not great quality, i have seen several replacement screens that edge bleed quite badly and its one of things that once you notice you cant unsee, you can get much better quality reworked screens on an exchange basis but its £20 vs £100-150

Guess it depends on how much it bothers you and how long your keeping the van

Thanks Pauly.
I feared as much. I’m not getting rid of the van any time soon (even if I get a Crafter), so may look into an exchange.
