I usually store my roof straps in the underseat storage of the swivel passenger bench. Never usually a problem, but on Friday I just threw them in rather than wrapping them up neatly.
Whilst trying to pack up and go home on sunday I couldn't swivel the seat back into driving position. Here is why:
That is well and truly wrapped around and stuck. That convenient looking bolt is a captive bolt, so I can't access from the top. I'm now looking forward to removing the entire seat to free the strap. I think I'll wrap the straps up next time. I might even buy a bag for them.
