Throttle Pedal position

Where abouts are peoples throttle pedals in relation to the rest? Mine has always felt like it has too little movement, and almost feels like it’s too low to start with.

Measuring the accelerator pedal position in VCDS, I can only get this value to 79% maximum. So I’m just trying to work out if something is broken.

Took these photos of mine for you, unsure if this helps. They do look similar to your pedals

When fully depressed it hits a stop, which is the bottom of this metal bracket. Just before it touches the rubber mat

I dont have VCDS but can use CarScanner with my OBDII thing when im next out in the van to see what it reports. Although i think it reports throttle position and as the throttle body is fly-by-wire, this may not reflect the actual pedal position. (0% no press - 100% full pressed). May explain why you only see 79% max (assuming you tested this without engine running and didn't just hold it on limiter haha)

You sir are a legend!

In VCDS I went into ‘accelerator pedal position’ to get the reading.

Mine looks much more towards the right hand side of the van.

I’ll have to measure between the brake pedal face and the accelerator. I get the feeling the pedal looks slightly bent in mine

If you can lift the pedal up and it moves it has come lose easy fix just remove the plastic cover lift the pedal and re tighten i drove my van for 2 years thinking it had no power before realising its like i got a new van

Exactly which of the three available values you are referring?
