You have changed the batteries back and the problem has returned?

i.e. not fixed it by loosing and retightening the battery clamps!

If I’ve learnt anything on here it’s, if you have problems with lights, start/stop, heater, radio, alternator, door locks, adblue, tyres and suspension, pop top roof or anything else ………………,,, it’s probably the starter battery

Glad you've found the problem.

Moral of story, don't expect the average motor dealership to be capable of diagnosing even basic electrical faults!

Having been in the electrical industry as a telecoms engineer all my working life I've learned to look for the simplest things first.

Is it a Moll EFB+ battery? Known issues with them.

Just reading the thread as I am having the same issue. It’s the first spell of cold weather we have had with our van.

Taken note that it could be the tension on the alternator belt as we do get a bit of a squeak.
Will check the battery make this morning.

Did you get to the bottom of your issue? Or has it also returned with the cold weather?
