The Camper Hub Ltd, Dudley

 So you disagree that a bank's fraud department advising against transacting with a business should be viewed as a red flag? IMO, that's the very definition of a red flag - some may disagree, but then some fall victim to scams.
I got the full bank scam security checks trying to pay VW. Bank wanted to know who they were? Even though they had all the bank details. They also stopped we paying for my VW warranty, so not sure that is a red flag.

I got that when I tried to pay for my camper. The twits at the Halifax wouldnt authorise the bank transfer for a van that id seen, driven, and was actually looking at, from a company that has been in existence in one form or another far longer than the Halifax itself had.

So I crossed my fingers and paid on my debit card, and the outstanding £47k went through on the plastic without so much as a murmur.

Making life difficult for legitimate shoppers while doing little to address actual scams - thats the British way of doing things.

Hiya, would really appreciate it if you took this original thread down if possible. I didn't get chance to reply until late in the feed and for anyone who starts reading this thread and doesn't read until the end may get the wrong impression of us over the first few comments and be quick to assume. Can be quite damaging. Thanks
Hi Jack, thanks for making your position clear. Not sure why I should have to take the post down though, if others (like me) are doing their due diligence my personal feeling is this will be a helpful thread, given there are only FB reviews to go on? Nothing on TrustPilot or Google Reviews that I could see, and no website (for reasons you have already pointed out). I can't force anyone to read a whole thread so joining as a trader as others have suggested seems like a good idea, or put a post up yourself? Unless the moderators disagree. Good luck going forwards 👍

Aint that the truth

I think it’s only fair to add an edit to your first post stating that company is legit and has added details further on.

I have requested that the post gets edited to recommend that participants read the whole thread - I'm not responsible for verifying that the company is legit, I think the responses from them have made that clear.

I think most members use the Search function and can be bothered to read from post #1 to the end.:grin bounce:

Hi All -

Just though I would pop on here to leave some honest feedback regarding Camper Hub - at the very start of our van search we came across Camper Hub. Initially as everyone does we did some research and came across this thread. Whilst we 100 percent appreciate that some people were sceptical, we decided to find out for ourselves what Camper Hub are about.
We paid a visit in early May as we had interest in a van that they had for sale ready for conversion, we had lots of back and forth conversations and we raised all of our genuine concerns with Jack - the owner of the company.
Jack came across as honest, truth worthy and willing to do whatever he said he was going to do. His approach to questions, his patience and his willingness to listen to concerns gave us all the confidence we needed to take a huge gamble.
We paid the deposit to the team knowing that we were going to get a custom conversion of our choosing. The deposit was not an issue as I run a small business and in this day and age cash flow can be an issue, if you are a relatively new business building up a portfolio of work - hey we all start somewhere!

Any how Jack and the team promised us that we were in good hands, they gave us a lead time for collection and they stuck to it! We received regular updates throughout the build, which gave us so much excitement and also comfort that everything was going as it should.
We collected our new camper on the day as arranged and all receipts and documentation was provided along with our certificates.

Camper Hub is as honest as I stand here today. They work hard, they take pride, and they do everything in their power to create the van you dream of! Now some might say the deposit is a problem, some might also look at the fact that they only use Facebook. But has anyone owned a Range Rover from brand new? Because I have and let me tell you, I received better service from Jack and the Team than I ever did from the big players.

I hope that my post will give others the confidence to at least speak to Jack and his team, who are all pleasant polite hard working lads.
We could not be more grateful to Camper Hub for everything that they have done for us, all the patience that they had, the stress we most likely caused them along the way.

We hope to remain customers for many many years to come and will recommend them whenever we get the chance to.

Thank you Jack & Leon and the rest of your team for turning our dream into a reality and beyond! We wish you every success in expanding your business as you have all the attributes to become something big, rare and special. A place where camper loving people can come and get the service we only wished everyone provided!!

We are proud to be Camper Hubbers and sing your praises!
