Team Starlight Blue

Sounds like a good move with 17’s and all terrains for comfort. I bought my starlight blue camper conversion which had 20’s on it and cheap low profile tyres. Ride was terrible especially with all the potholes in the road. I went down to 18’s with the biggest premium tyre I could fit in the arch (as lowered) 255/45/18 but the ride still isn’t a lot better. Im now going to lift the suspension a bit to allow more travel in the hope that works otherwise I’ll have to get premium new suspension. I’m sure your combination will be comfortable especially with the roll bar but I’d just be careful on lowering too much as you don’t want to diminish the big wins. I know I haven’t got the same set up but just to give you an idea of black wheels with the starlight blue here’s a pic.

Looking good with black wheels. I had Koni Sport Active with H&R anti-roll bars on my California with standard wheels and CrossClimates. As we don't intend to convert the Kombi apart from sound insulation and partial carpeting van wont be as heavy as the California was. Bognor Motors do a kit now with Bilstiens so that will be by route and not too low.

Hopefully this is allowed in this thread, but I have a never fitted, Starlight blue tailgate spoiler for sale..

take it you sold this?

Thank you. My only slight concern is that it’s a twin slider (I’d not even considered the impact of this internally). Are there any good links or guides on here of things to consider when converting, such as running cables and fitting furniture? I have searched but didn’t know if there were any posts of people just documenting there project etc. thanks in advance.
