Team Leisuredrive

yes mate.......they come in 2 versions in the lounge

1. side seat with lap belt and single on passenger side
2. twin forward facing single seats on either side
Mines on a TV bracket. It's a plastic thing, one piece on the headrest and the other attached to the cupboard.

Quite useful, as we remove it normally, I have a cushion with another bracket attached, much more comfortable when sitting in bed with a cup of tea!

Some observations after my first night camping in the Vivante. A good learning experience !
We are on EHU this Time and everything works great.
We brought along a small oil radiator for heating overnight and found out that we need an extra 230v socket somewhere near floor level as the cable won't reach the 2 sockets we have next to the control panel. We left it on top of the worktop above the toilet, but found the heat didn't really make it into the sleeping area. Woke up at 5am feeling cold (14'), so had to give the diesel heater a blast.
So, sleeping....
Our configuration is 2+2, which suits us. But throw 2 dogs into equation brings issues. The dogs insist on being up of the floor and it's just too cramped. So will be looking at centre boards to make up a double.
All in, very pleased

Hi Sack,

There is a pull out board under the side cushions that allows the use of the side seat bolster to make up the double bed - that's our configuration.
We also have a floor level double socket between the fridge and the large drawer. An extension cable runs behind the seats and the sockets sit behind the drivers seat that allows us to run a small fan heater. I have seen some Vivantes with a socket on the single seat (facing the side door).

Hope that helps :)

@The Wibbler yeah, mine didn't come with side bolsters or bedboard as its the 2 single rear seat configuration. I'm told only those with the side facing lounge seat have those extras...

Do you have a socket on the passenger side?

I've seen them outside the seat base, facing the sliding door.

Ours has one right at the back, inside the seat base cupboard.

Just a double socket next to control panel above toilet. I'm planning to put one either on driver seat base panel (next to heater outlet or on the rear drivers side seat base panel. I'll just use one of the existing sockets in an 'extension lead' type arrangement if you know what I mean

We have a double on the wall near the control panel, a double near the floor just forward of the fridge on the side seat base and a single socket on the base of the single rear seat just inside the sliding door. We can do the double bed configuration but find the two singles more practical, particularly when nocturnal visits to the toilet installation are required. Of course we don't have the dog issue...

One observation, when have things plugged into the 230v sockets above the toilet, it's pretty hard to get the toilet cupboard top to go fully up, enough for the holder thingy to be used. Bit of a design flaw I think.

Just wondering, has anyone successfully installed a rigid solar panel to a high-top Leisuredrive Vivante? when I was at their works last week I saw their LWB Vivante Glampervan (!) comes with a flexible panel installed, and when I asked they told me they can retrofit the same kit to our van for £950 all in. Not sure I want a flexy panel though as there seem to be a lot of negative reports about them on here. Also quite happy to do the install myself if it's practical.

Hi Martinw,

I've had two flexi panels fitted on the basis that, while there is plenty of space on the roof, not much of it is flat. The two panels run lengthwise from about a foot in front of the light well to the point where the roof starts to curve down towards the windscreen. The controller is located on the inside of the wardrobe.

Temptimg fate here, but have had them for 2 years now and all good.
