Tablet head Unit.

Hi. I would like to replace my head u it with a tablet. Either iPad or galaxy. There are some problems that I’m hoping you folks can help with.

1) is there an adapter that can screw in to the existing holes that secure the stereo this would secure the tablet in position.
2) how to get the audio from the tablet to out put through the existing speakers
3) how to link a phone to the tablet so you can continue with hands free calling.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't have the first clue how to replace the head unit with a tablet, sorry. You could connect to a suitable head unit using CarPlay etc, but as far as I know that is only one way from tablet/phone to the head unit, you won't get head unit functions back the other way.

If you take a look at some of the android launchers like car launcher they are really good. Especially when linked with an odb2 meter. I just need to find a way to make the tablet look like it belongs there. A way to charge it and a way to get the audio out!
