Not very like that concept that was going around is it?
That's what I said I thought it would look like, the T6 with a few nips and tucks and the new corporate front end grafted on, not the ridiculous "artists impressions" that were doing the rounds in magazines. VW doesn't do radical, expect evolution not revolution.
How can they say it is a "T7" when they acknowledge it's a mule? My neighbour works testing for JLR and often has Land Rovers and Range Rovers parked on his drive (MIRA is only about 3 miles down the road from us) - some with tape all over some without - he'll tell me they are mules but will never discuss what is hidden beneath and/or what elements he's working on.
Did anyone read that article?
They are using current production test mules. It's the hybrid powertain they are testing in current production t6 ready to move the the new mqb platform. Don't expect to see a full t7 concept until 2019.

Yes it's a mule and it's also been photoshopped to put the front and mirrors from another VW on, but I reckon this guess is much closer than some of the previous Photoshop jobs. It's definitely not going to look like the ID Buzz thing, that was never destined to be a Transporter
