T7 (or whatever it's called) pricing

5 years warranty, servicing, and MOT.

Model for model most standard spec Transporters are cheaper than the Transit for RRP.

However, Ford dealers are more likely to discount and give 0% finance.

Over time it'll be interesting to see how used prices difrer for essentially the same product. Buyers bizarrely seem to want to pay the VW tax and also they'll have the reassurance that for 5 years at least they know the wet belt has been running in the correct oil. if that happens the residuals will be another reason for pridwte buyees to choose the Transporter.
If I was going to buy one it would be the ford purely because the ford dealership is local , vw is 40 odd miles away

I think that looks gash, but vanllife is a broad church and many will love it. It's been successful in the past so I can see why they've done it again.

Are the new Spurtlines OE jobs, or knocked together by a UK contractor prior to sale?
I reckon msrt probably have the contract like they do for ford
