T7 (or whatever it's called) pricing

OK,
So, looks like VW are trying to make the front of the Sportline, look very very similar to a 6.1
That, speaks volumes
I don't know to me it looks like... swollen compared to a T4/5/6.

But OK, Tansit lovers may differ.

I think that looks gash, but vanllife is a broad church and many will love it. It's been successful in the past so I can see why they've done it again.

Are the new Spurtlines OE jobs, or knocked together by a UK contractor prior to sale?

At a list price of around £68k, I think it will be a hard sell to VW enthusiasts, but if it does sell I wouldn't be surprised to see the 3 year face-lift (Transporter.2) to have that front end....

Reminds me of my first mini.
That had 10 inch wheels too.
Hey. It's not the size that matters it's what you do with it... I'm running 16 inch factory specials. They've grown on me and the ride (although not really comparable to old van) is far more comfortable. Will be swapped to 17 inchers in summer when my miles / KW improves

Do you have proper weight rated tyres and inflate them at about 4 bar by the book?
I use also the original 16" in summer but they are far from comfortable for me. I understand overgrown swamper tyres are confy , but standard size 16" I can't immagine how it can be.

I know, Chris, I was taking the P.... out of the wheels pictured, they somehow look tiny on that Transitporter!
I've got a set of 16" Claytons but they don't seem to look as tiny as those in the pictures, I think it's the body styling around the arches that does it.

Mine look equally a silly.... Like wheelbarrow wheels! No offence taken. Not sure why 17s not standard!

Yes Sir. Ok. Sweet. My electric van is rwd. Lots of weight over back axle with batteries. No issues with 16s running 215/65 and 107/109 load rating

I think the wheels are the least of its worries when it comes to its appearance, but who chooses a commercial vehicle for its looks?

I have the same size and load rates for summer. I have no issues too, they drive as expected. I was just surprised that anyone would choose them just for the confort, if inflated as they need to be. It is true that they have a thick shoulder, but due to the small size they need to be inflated at high pressure , that cancels any comfort advantage.
