T6 hazard warning light won't go away, it just keeps flashing and says "CHECK SAFETY LOCK"

Why does this not go away? It is very distracting, I have to take the battery lead out to prevent it from going flat due to hazard warning lights. Is this a fault or something else?

Its telling you to lock the vehicle safely and does lock people inside as its got deadlocks. Its just a reminder when locking the vehicle.

If yours is staying on at all times then I suggest there is an issue?

What vehicle is it, and how old ?

It's a Volkswagen T6 Transporter 2017, again the safety lock warning does not go away when the ignition is on and the hazard warning lights just don't go away at all, do you think they are related, and if not, why?

It's clearly a fault. If you have a way of reading error codes, then post them on here, otherwise you need to find someone to fix it.
Where in the UK are you based ?
