T6 front seats

Are T6 front seats the exact same design as T5? I need to send a pic of my T6 seats, to the guy making my new seat covers just so he knows for sure which seats I have. Only problem is that my t6 doesn't arrive until august so I'm hoping my current T5 seat is identical??

Far as I know my Cali t6 ones are the same as the T5 ones

Great info thanks. And the headrests are the same and levers for adjustment etc all in same places?

I think you will find they are a slightly different design - Our leather guy has had to re-do his templates when swapping from T5 to T6.

Also none of the seat protection covers on our rental vans swapped over from t5 to t6. Vw have brought our a new designed cover for this.

The rest of the seat is the same, just not the cushions and covers.

The back section near the shoulders is thicker on the T6 seat to my knowledge

All leather or alcantara.
