I've found the forums really useful and thought I had found the answer to my cab thermostat only blowing lukewarm air whether it was set to hot or cold with engine fully warmed up. So no real heat and poor air con (as lukewarm is too warm to cool down.)
I thought it was going to be the usual linkage problem mentioned for T6 and T6.1 spanning a few years, but just had mine in and garage (while agreeing its a mechanical issue between knob and heater unit) is adamant that my model doesn't have this part. I did find this on the drivers footwell a while ago (may be completely unrelated so don't shoot me down) but wondered if it looks like something that could have held and turned a cable? Not sure how this helps me if its still a dashboard out job but would be good to know what it might be in case.its something else!!
