T6 C-Rail Supplied in 2 Sections – How Are They Joined?

Hi all,

Just fitting a C-rail to my T6 and the rail has arrived in two separate sections rather than one continuous piece.

I can't seem to find much information on how the two sections are supposed to join together. There wasn't any obvious joiner plate or connector included in the kit, so I'm wondering if they're simply meant to butt together on the van with a small gap, or if I'm missing a part.

If anyone has fitted a two-piece C-rail before, could you let me know:

I've searched the forum but most threads seem to show either already-fitted rails or one-piece rails, so I haven't found a clear answer yet.

Thanks in advance.
Joe

Send it back and tell them you want it in one length .
Butting 2 bits together is a crap idea but its easier for the supplier to ship.

My original ones i had fitted both side came in 3 sections each, they were just butted together and never gave me any issues when using them with the kador strip, they did butt together better than in your picture though.

I doubt many sellers would ship a three meter bit of flimsy extruded aluminium - the damage rate would be horrendous! It would (should) have been clear when ordering it was not one piece.

The cheaper ones are in 2,3,4 sections as it's cheaper to post.

A 3 meter tube costs loads to post... So now expensive...
