Custom C-profile roof rails

Hi everybody,


I'm looking for the rails on the roof. Then I'm going to attach the awning (like 180 awning) to them and maybe something else in the future..

The original rails may cost a lot and I can't even find them...

I paid attention on C-profile like below (maybe I can find different cross section size). They are aluminium, but I think if I put some insulation between them and the body - there should not be problems (i mean galvanic pair aluminium - steel)... What do you think - would it work? Any disadvantages?
