In the end, it was really just the Halo 9 and Apine’s KIT-HALO-VW303 I used.
I originally bought adapters for the VW proprietary DAB / FM connectors , but as the pre-existing aerial signals were so poor, I ended up getting a roof aerial and now get a much better FM and DAB signal, and that came with the required connectors.
As for the USB, I used an old cheap one and took the surround off it and used that. Was a bit of a squeeze but works fine ..
