2018 abs pump 2.0 dsg I used wiring diagram off ( t6) here but not getting any power from it . . I can add wiring pin data if anyone has any ideas why ?
Pin 6 is ignition switched so I think this is what should wake the module up. Pins 1 and 25 are permanent live.
Pin 32 is the break light switch, connects to many places in the loom but the source is the switch by the brake pedal pin 3 red/black. Anyway it's an input to the module so shouldn't really affect powering.
Yearh I gutted abs pump must be dead then ,
I know there's other wiring . But was to make sure it powers up . Evern with can wires added nothing from as gearbox flashers because it can't see it. Gutted was told it was low mileage in gwo
Maybe try to wire the CAN directly to VCDS to see if it communicates at all? Like a bench setup... afaiu VCDS should be able to connect to the module directly even if there's no gateway / ecu / gearbox present.

Can wires measure 60ohms and signal wave is good . I was going to do dsg conversion but due to no abs power i need to make sure I get it working . As its 2018 just wanted to make sure I had the right diagram.
In my experience VCDS didn't want to communicate directly with the given controller without the GATEWAY being involved.
VCP connected directly worked no problem though.
