T6.1 sliding door doesnt always open properly.

Hi,

I noticed few times on my new 6.1 the sliding door doesn't always open properly. I would say 1 out of 10 when van has been locked for a while when opening sliding door it doesn't fully unlatch then the soft close pulls it in again and then I can open it properly on 2nd attempt.

Is this a known problem ?

Quite possibly, I have a twin slider and for some reason the drivers side is worse than the passenger side. I’ve used seal lubricant on both so it’s definitely not the seal’s sticking. Solution not sure at the moment

Cheers, it seems the door lock sticks and doesn't fully release in my case

Yes that’s exactly what I get. I wonder if the Bowden cables stretch over time. Both my door cards have been off to sound proof and insulate but nothing near the lock mechanisms on either sliding door. Sometimes takes several handle pulls to get it to release
