T6.1 OEM headunit options

Hi all, I'm quite new to the forums and this is my first post. As above, does anyone know how to identify which head unit is fitted into my 2021 Highline T6.1 please?

I'm installing a reversing camera and want to know whether my unit can display the video from it, or whether I need to either replace the existing unit or install a seperate monitor (which may be best as I'm considering installing other cameras).

Any information offered will be greatfully received!

I think there’s only 2 versions- if it’s got built in sat nav it’s discover media if not it’s composition colour @Absolut5 or @Dav-Tec would be the ones to talk to.

I have this same unit in camper based on high line van. I have a reversing camera. Thought it was standard on 2021 T6.1
Definately worth checking, maybe it needs turning on in settings ? Good luck

Thanks, not really looked at the settings yet so I will take a look tomorrow.

Yes it will take a camera input directly into it, just make sure you get a compatible camera and it will need coding/programming once fitted so the van knows its there and displays the picture

As Pauly has mentioned, it us compatible with NSTC cameras, along with coding

Mine has a rev cam as standard , the dealer said this is the latest head unit with all the bells an whistles including gesture control, I`m new to VW`s so can only take his word as gospel, but it seems to do most things...lol
